Jep, een gelamineerd houten werkstuk, voor zover was ik bij de les, maar hoe galamineerd dan?<br>Ik vond het antwoord in foto&#8217;s van een advertentie van een tweedehandse &#8220;Gartside&#8221; boot. Zijn betekenis van laminaat voor de knie\u00ebn is twee lagen overlangs en een dwarse laag er tussenin. Mmm, slim en een mooi alternatief voor massief eik in kleine boten.<br>De knie\u00ebn voor de spiegel zijn redelijk rechtoe-rechtaan, het breiwerkje in de neus was een ander paar mouwen.<br>Daar komen zes delen samen die niet te beschrijven zijn in hoeken of radius, enkel geduld, een scherp podlood en wat lef als de zaag erin gaat zijn de helpers die het gaan maken.<br>En thee, liters thee-pauzes als afleiding.<br>De mastvoet wordt de referentie voor het bepalen van de masthoek: Die zit, zaak om een vaste waarde te hebben in een weelde van variabelen.<br>Wel hoera, de eerste boring in de boegdoft die volgens de maten van het plan was geboord zat er niet ver naast (pwaa, amper 12mm).<br>De passing van het middendoft met een halfhoutse verbinding over de zwaardkast was genieten.
